José Luis is a graduate of the Escuela Libre de Derecho and has over 37 years of experience. His career progressed from intern to associate and then partner. He co-founded Martínez y de Labra, Abogados S.C. with Vicente Martínez, where he currently practices.
He has taught at institutions like ITESO, Tecnológico de Monterrey (Guadalajara campus), and Universidad Panamericana, covering subjects such as Civil and Commercial Procedural Law Clinic, Legal Methodology, Commercial Law, among others.
José Luis is a founding member of the Jalisco Chapter of the Mexican Bar Association.

Vicente graduated from ITESO and holds a Master's in International Advocacy from the University of Barcelona and ISDE. He has also completed diplomas in Comparative Law and Legal English.
With over 20 years of experience, Vicente has worked as an intern, associate, and partner at various firms, including abroad. He has also served as an external advisor in the Jalisco State Congress and the Mexican Senate.
In 2019, he co-founded Martínez y de Labra, Abogados with José Luis de Labra, where he is currently the Managing Director.
